Purchasing on gb-rugs.com is easy and fast

We kindly ask you to read the sales conditions, which you can print or store for your personal use.  The carpets sales and tapestries present on website are proposed directly by GB-Rugs & Tapestry, brand of Bersanetti Giovanni Company with seat in Viale della Navigazione Interna 1, Zona Industriale, 35129 Padua, VAT number 00685880288, Company Register of the Chamber of Commerce of Padua PD-1996-36492, registered in the 138467 register of 06-09-1978. In Informations and Client area sections you will find all the information about products, orders, shipments, return of goods, refunds and legal notices. We are always at your disposal, during office hours, to help you. All items presented on www.gb-rugs.com are available in the store, with the exception of the models that are presented as samples that can be made on demand (with size and subjects chosen by the customer) and if the products have already been booked in the preceding 12 hours. This is due to the fact that the update is made every day at 9 a.m. and at 8 p.m.

Rugs and tapestries we propose

Rugs and tapestries on gb-rugs.com are presented as faithfully as possible to the original. So all the photos are made and prepared very inside the company thoroughly, to make them as faithful as possible. The perfect visualization of colours depends on your screen; we cannot guarantee that it reproduces the real colours. The quality and conditions of each item are thoroughly controlled twice: when they arrive in our store and before they are delivered to the costumer. Being they handmade, they are all different from each other, and have to be considered as unique items. For this reason they are identified through a 12-digit code which cannot be doubled. This means that the code connected to the photo of the carpet that you have requested cannot correspond to another carpet. For custom rugs (leather carpets, Art Design, Moderns, etc.) we make an estimate based on the project that has been finalized with the costumer; if it is accepted, the advance is 1/3 of the total price including VAT; the remaining has to be paid before the shipment. The price of antique rugs includes the custom Soft under-carpet  that they are delivered with.  For shipments outside the EU it is necessary to request an estimate of cost of transport. For considerable orders we suggest to call us to get information about the availability of the products and the exact cost of transport. We reserve the right to modify prices, since they depend on fluctuations in exchange rates and the rugs market. Once you have found the carpet you want, add it to the cart clicking on Buy. During the purchase process you can view the contents of your Basket, check the total amount  and modify its contents. Before you end the purchase process, insert the destination address of your order.

Certificate of authenticity of carpets sales

The Authenticity Certificate that we make is a true expertise, thing that it is exhaustively explained in the related page. The guarantee is valid for two (2) year starting from the delivery date A bad use or an insufficient maintenance are obviously not included in the guarantee and the costumer has to pay the costs of restoration and cleaning. We will judge if the problem depends on a manufacturing fault or on something occurred after the item has been delivered to the costumer. In any case the delivery costs are charged to the costumer.

Our prices of carpets

The prices on the website are in Euro with 22% Vat and without Vat for the users that don’t’ have to pay; The prices for private inside EU and Italian company are Vat charged. To the companies inside EU with a valid VAT number and private living in extra-EU countries Vat is not applied; in this last case (private outside EU) it will be debited € 50,00 for  custom costs. VAT is deducted when you pay after that you enter in your profile or after the subscription. Products are delivered exclusively to the address company. Registration

Registration is obligatory only for companies but if you are a private and you want ti discover all the opportunities proposed and offered by gb-rugs.com, you need to subscribe simply filling in the registration form. You will can modify your data whenever you want just entering the “User data” page and clicking on “Modify data”.

Orders

Once you made the order, you can view the state of your order on the website in the Clients Area. You can choose one of these languages: Italian, German, French, Spanish and English. After receiving the order form and after the verify that your order data, the goods will be at your disposal.

Cancel an order

To cancel an order contact us the same day or the following day by phone, fax or e-mail.

Delivery and transport

The cost of transport is included for free  in Italy and it will charged in withdrawal case. For Europe delivery the cost is automatically calculated when the rug is added to the cart and the delivery country is chosen. For the rest of the world it is necessary to ask for an estimate during the order. For substantial orders we suggest that you call us to get information about the availability and the exact transportation costs. Our couriers are GLS and UPS and they usually deliver within 48 hours in Italy. You will receive an advise of rugs departure. We kindly ask you to send us an-email to confirm us that you have received the carpets and if you are satisfied because we really would like to know if everything is alright or if there is any problem (it is much better to solve them immediately).
